When we keep hearing the Gospel, dangerous character flaws and beliefs in us are replaced by the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
“But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18 WEB)
We are transformed from one level of glory to the next, rescued from one of our greatest enemies: ourselves.
Finally, when we continually receive the Gospel in faith, we become more balanced and stable in Christ.
Nothing is able to topple us because Jesus is the cornerstone in our lives.
Our lives become built upon a solid rock, and not on loose sand.
““Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of mine, and doesn’t do them will be like a foolish man, who built his house on the sand. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”” (Matthew 7:24-27 WEB)
Whatever wind and waves come our way may cause us to wobble, but we will never crash and be swept away.
Dear brethren, the more you hear the Gospel and let it blossom in your heart, the more you will flourish in life, for Jesus’ glory.
Go through a pruning session every day (John 15:1-5) by reading or listening to the Gospel, and you’ll experience more health, healing, fruitfulness, peace and stability in Christ!
